Verbal / nonverbal comm. In the Interview

Verbal / nonverbal comm. In the Interview

At this hour I've missed, but I asked my friend Erzana what you have done and she told me that you choosed the music about the video adv, and then you talked about verbal and nonverbal comm.
I read it home and I learned that it was about using the verbal and nonverbal comm. In a best way in the interview, how to use some tactics that affect the success of the interview.

Those tactics are
Verbal comm. Tactics: correct grammar, precision, colloquialisms, emotion, clichés, slang, jargon.
Nonverbal comm tactics: Body movement, eye and face contact, touc, voice, time, appearance.

There were explaniation of each of them how to use and what to avoid during used them in the interview.

Standard Interviews

Types on interview

This week we talked about the thre types of standard interviews which are:
1.      Selection interview- the purpose of these interviews is to screen applicants for employment, awards or membership.
2.      Information gathering interview-  interviews that focus on generating interviews from the parties involved.
3.      Persuasion interview- used to reinforce a position, recruit, or change the mind of individuals in the interview situation.

I have been selection interviews, when I applied for a work& study program in the university , in the library of the university. I also have been part of information gathering interview but as a interviewr when I has a project to do in my lesson Identity & Culture, the interview was  CROSS-CULTURE INTERVIEW, and I was gathering information about culture of the person interviewed, and I also have been part of others interview gathetrin information.

Have you ever been in one of these types of interview and which of them , can you explain?

This week we watched a video about Nelson Mandela. It was a explanation of life of Nelson Mandela , all his life. It was really useful to watch video because I learned a lot about this big revolutionary.
Also we were part of an organization made by Language Center about life of Nelson Mandela with the title “What freedom means to me” . I really enjoyed this organization , it was so good.
Also we can saw some posters made by students in Language Center, they were very good prepared.
I can say that this was a big event, when everybody has the chance to get a lot of information
About Nelson Mandela.
